USD 333 Names Teachers of the Year

At our end of the year breakfast, USD 333 Superintendent Quentin Breese announced the recipients of the PK-6 and 7-12 Teachers of the Year. These teachers are nominated and voted on by their peers. 

Congratulations to:

Kristin Peltier - PK-6

Jamie Meyer - 7-12

Kristin is a first grade teacher at CES who truly goes the extra mile to help each child succeed. She is compassionate, patient and has high expectations for all her students. Mrs. Peltier is creative and makes learning fun for her students. She is instrumental in helping create a strong educational foundation for her students. Kristin is a team-player and is a mentor and leader to her first grade team as well as to the staff of CES.

Jamie teaches math at CJSHS. Jamie is a team player. She connects well with members of the community and is well-respected across Concordia. Jamie teaches in a way that inspires students to believe in their own math abilities. She is able to make students believe and achieve.Jamie is in charge of NHS and does a great job with the program and students. She also keeps rigorous math courses, including college level courses.

These ladies will represent our district and are now in the running to be named the Kansas Teacher of the Year. They will be recognized at the Kansas State Department of Education Teacher of the Year banquet this fall where the Kansas Teacher of the Year will be named.
