Families Together
IDEA and Effective Parent/School Partnerships is an educational workshop sponsored by Families Together and the Learning Cooperative of North Central Kansas on February 15, 2010 at the LCNCK in Concordia from 8:30-noon. Registration begins at 7:30. There is no charge to attend. Lesli Girard, Director, Families Together, Inc., will share information about services offered by Families Together as well as formal and informal supports that are available to both schools and families. The goal of this workshop is to provide all attendees will information about the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and how parents and school personnel can be effective partners in the educational process. Time will be allowed for large group discussion and questions are welcomed!
