CJSHS Band and Choir Receive Superior Ratings
The CHS Chamber Choir performed at KSHSAA State Large Group Contest in Beloit on Wednesday. We received straight "1 Ratings" from all 3 judges. A perfect score is 80 and Chamber Choir received a 79, a 79, and a 77, from the 3 judges. "I am so very proud of their work and effort," said Kevin Johnson.
The CHS Concert Band performed and competed at the KSHSAA State Large Group Festival in Beloit. We received Straight Superior ratings for an overall rating of "Superior". This is the 29th consecutive year the band has received a "Superior" rating at State. "I am so lucky to have these kids!" said Stuart Roegge.
