CES 4th Graders Take Part In Concordia Beautification Project
On Thursday, April 23, Concordia Elementary fourth graders took part in a Concordia Beautification Project of Cloud County Tourism. Roger Nelson donated two dozen black lick tubs to be used as planters. The fourth graders planted the tubs with flowers donated by Cloud County Tourism. Friday morning the City of Concordia Street Crew placed the planters along the crosswalks of downtown Concordia.
Tammy Britt and Susie Haver of Cloud County Tourism are encouraging everyone to get involved in sprucing up Concordia in preparation of the 20th Annual Kansas Sampler Festival to be hosted by Concordia this May 2 & 3.
