CMS Hoops For Heart - 2008
This year the Concordia
Middle School’s goal for Hoops For Heart was to raise $6,000
($42.00 per student) so Mr. Stricker would wear a dress to
school.
The students fell short of their goal but did raise $2005.50. The
top 5th grade fundraiser was Autumn Zimmerman with $220.50. The top
6th grade fundraiser was Brianna Stringer with $75.00.
Students who raised $100.00
or more were 5th graders Lesley Stensaas and Zach Kyle. Students
who raised $75.00 - $99.99 were 5th graders José Nava, Rebecca
Robbins, Krisha Dunlap, and Chase Streeter. Students who raised
$50.00 - $74.00 were 6th graders Zak Romo, Anthony Dunlap, Dalton
Collette, and Megan James; 5th graders were Tristen Leiszler, Kelsi
Weston, Chuck Stupka, Makaila Peltier and Stormie Hittle.
The top class sellers were: 5th grade Mr. Hutchinson’s class with $742.50 and 6th grade Mrs. Ferguson’s class with $277.00. These two classes were awarded with a pizza party which was donated by Pizza Hut.
