Students Chosen for 2008 State KMEA Middle Level Honor Choir

Students Paige Champlin, Kevin Licharowicz, and Garrett Brummett
have been selected to participate in the 2008 KMEA State Middle
Level Honor Choir in Wichita on Friday Feb. 29, 2008. The State
Middle Level Honor Choir is selected by audition for 7th, 8th and
9th Graders. Paige is a Freshman and the daughter of Robin and
Teresa Champlin. Kevin is also a Freshman and the son of Angel
Lohan and Larry Roth. Garrett is an 8th Grader and the son of Greg
and Donna Brummett.
All 3 were chosen from an audition process that included over 800
students. The KMEA State Middle Level Honor Choir has a total of
160 students, 40 from each section, from all over the State of
Kansas. “It is a great honor to be selected as part of the State
Middle Level Honor Choir from the audition process. It means you
are one of the top 40 singers in your voice part in the entire
State of Kansas”, said their director Kevin Johnson.
