December 2007 - CMS News from the Principal
Make a Difference for Our School with Box Tops
We’ve recently launched our
2007-2008 Box Tops for Education fundraising campaign. This year
we’ve set a goal of earning $1,000.00 through Box Tops to purchase
items for our school.
For over 10 years, Box Tops for Education has helped America’s
schools raise over $200 million to buy the things they need. The
Box Tops for Education program offers three easy ways to make a
difference through everyday activities: buying groceries, shopping
online and purchasing books. School budgets are tighter than ever,
and Concordia Middle School is asking for the support of families
and community members like you.
Another easy way to help our school is to sign up for the Box Tops
website at boxtops4education.com. You’ll
get updates on our school’s Box Tops earnings, money-saving
coupons, family-pleasing recipes, chances to win Bonus Box Tops,
the latest Box Tops news and much, much more. Best of all, it’s
absolutely free!
For more information on how you can help our school earn cash
through Box Tops for Education, contact Nancy Holbert our Box Tops
coordinator, at 785-243-2114.
Students & Parents
We will not have a
gift exchange this year at CMS. Instead, if you want (and it’s
completely optional) we are asking for an item for the Food Bank.
We will be constructing a pyramid in the cafeteria with the can
goods that are brought.
If you are going to bring an item, please have it to the school by Monday, December 17th.
Home and School
Home & School
would like to thank everyone that helped or performed in this
year’s Variety Show, it was a great success. Especially thanks to
Mr. Stiles and his Drama department for the wonderful lights and
sound and Mrs. McDaniel and Catscratch Productions for videoing
this show. The next Home and School meeting will be Wednesday,
December 5th, CMS cafeteria at 5:15 p.m.
