Site Council Minutes from November 14, 2007-CES Library
The second Site Council meeting was held at the CES library on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 11:30. Those in attendance were Randy Whitley, Laura Barta, Heather Isbell, Ronda Gumm, Jill Kearn, Johnni Ramsey, Ric Fredrickson, Brandt Hutchinson, Chris Fall, Karl Stricker, Becky Jones, Jolene Kindel, Theresa Bonebrake, Kathleen Miller, and Susan Ball
Brandt Hutchinson, president, called the meeting to order.
New members of Site Council were introduced.
Guest, Tammy Zimmerman talked about Family Literacy night which was held earlier in November was a big success. Rolling Hills Wildlife Refuge assisted with an interactive story with live animals. There was a book swap. They served 205 meals and daycare was provided. Sounds like Family Literacy Night went over very well with all in attendance.
Everton Energy then presented to the council the plan for the Ethanol plant and its effect on our schools. The information given was very informative and proved to be very insightful. Many of the questions we had for them were well answered.
Next meeting will be Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at the CMS Library at 11:30.
