Site Council Minutes from September 12, 2007-CES Library
The first Site Council meeting was held at the CES library on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 11:30. Those in attendance were Susan Ball, Theresa Bonebrake, Chris Fall, Jolene Kindel, Kathleen Miller, Ronda Gumm, Laura Barta, Randy Whitley, Heather Isbell, Sara Hutchinson, Brandt Hutchinson, Becky Jones, and Karl Stricker.
Brandt Hutchinson, president, briefly discussed the purpose of the Site Council. Also, old business was reviewed. Old Business consisted of reading through the goals that individuals submitted last year for the site council to work on this year.
As a group we set goals for the upcoming year. We want to address the CMS and the Lincoln School playgrounds, getting more community involvement, CARES Dog, and to Re-visit transportation routes. Another concern was brought up about parking at CES, safety at CMS with the new ethanol plant, and Bus Drop-off at both schools. Members of the community were recommended to be called and invited to be part of Site Council. They are Tom Ginnette, Nancy Collins, Carol Miller, Kathy Schweitzer, Fayth Nyswonger, SRO Officer. The teachers also said that they would discuss it with parents at PTC’s this fall.
We discussed that CAP is a success. There are maximum numbers of students there.

SRO Officer Ric Fredrickson agreed to be part of the Site Council.
For October we will review Building Report Cards, Safe Routes to School, Discuss Family Literacy Night, Compiling an e-mail List Serv.
Meeting was adjourned at 12:15. The next meeting will be at CMS Library on October 10, 2007 at 11:30.
